Charting a Path: Corporate Social Work Career Opportunities

Join us for a conversation where our panel interviewees will share pivotal steps in their corporate social work careers, steps to take now and always to lay a foundation for corporate social work careers, and next steps for the CSW Collective as we prepare for the upcoming year.

Shalane McNally, LMSW, CSM is a Lean Specialist with Organizational Improvement for a large health system. She brings 10+ years of expertise in program development/operations, change management and relationship management with various stakeholders, teams and industries ranging from education, counseling and tech to business and healthcare consulting. Shalane helps organizations and their teams succeed by helping them implement creative strategic solutions for their most complex challenges that are sustainable, timely, reduce waste/risk, motivate others and further enhance team health and culture. Shalane also provides individual and small group coaching for Human Services professionals and individuals pursuing career transitions. In her free time, she enjoys car shows, distance running, spending time with her son and dog and cheering on her home team, The Kansas City Chiefs.

Haley Miller, LMSW is a Birmingham, AL native, and now calls Nashville home. Her career has taken her across sectors from nonprofits to state government and most recently human resources. Haley’s professional interests include organizational development, grantmaking, policy analysis and development, psychological safety, and trustworthy leadership. She is passionate about burnout prevention and creating systems that support professional longevity for women, leaders, and helping professionals. Haley enjoys practicing yoga, baking, and traveling with her husband. 

Leslie Taylor, MSW is currently Assistant VP of Trust & Safety at professional services company Genpact, where she plays a pivotal role in executing overall trust and safety strategy as well as applying her expertise in child safety and wellness.

With over a decade of experience in trust and safety, Leslie embarked on her journey at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, where her deep-rooted passion for creating a safer internet was kindled. She has also made meaningful contributions on the trust and safety teams at tech companies, Snapchat and Adobe.

Academically, Leslie holds a Master of Social Work from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Sacramento.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Leslie nurtures her well-being through her favorite self-care practices, including immersing herself in the natural beauty of California while hiking and wholeheartedly committing to her annual New Year's resolution of petting more dogs!
